The BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team, along with its official partner Xbox, unveiled a special edition of its car for the United States Grand Prix. This design pays tribute to the video game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which will be released in December 2024. The A524 will feature a striking orange livery, inspired by the sunsets characteristic of the saga, with details such as ancient maps and red travel routes, alluding to the iconic travel sequences of the adventurer.
Special suits for Ocon and Gasly
Alpine drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly will also join this collaboration by wearing themed suits. Designed with a world map and golden details, the overalls symbolize Indiana Jones' global explorations, creating a cohesive aesthetic with the car’s design.
An artifact traveling across the United States
To generate more interest before the event, a mysterious artifact has traveled from California to the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. This journey passed through iconic locations such as Las Vegas, the Bonneville Salt Flats, and Monument Valley, adding an element of adventure to the lead-up to the Grand Prix.
Comments from the team director
Oliver Oakes, team principal of the BWT Alpine team, praised the collaboration with Xbox: “It has been fantastic working on this Indiana Jones-inspired design. It’s one of the most important activations we’ve done so far, and I can’t wait to see how it looks on the track. This is just the beginning of more collaborations to come.”
