The 35-point advantage they now have, with only one round remaining, puts them in a favorable position for the final race in Bahrain.

in the early laps. Laurens Vanthoor had a fast start, overtaking the Toyotas and positioning himself in the top spots. Thanks to effective strategic decisions in the pits, the team remained in control of the race, avoiding major issues and managing the safety car periods well.

Despite the attempts from Nicklas Nielsen in the Ferrari #50, Porsche stayed strong and managed the race without relinquishing its lead.

Toyota out of options at home

Toyota, which had high expectations at its home circuit, did not achieve the expected results. The Toyota #7, driven by Kamui Kobayashi and his team, retired after an incident on lap 163. This ended their chances of fighting for the drivers' championship.

The Toyota #8 also had a complicated race, dropping to tenth position after a penalty in the final laps.

Ferrari leads in LMGT3

In the LMGT3 category, Ferrari had a strong performance with its 296 LMGT3. The VISTA AF Corse team, composed of Thomas Flohr, Francesco Castellacci, and Davide Rigon, successfully managed the difficulties of the Fuji track. Despite previous issues in the season, the team completed a double stint that brought them the victory in their category.

Flohr, Castellacci, and Rigon managed the tires and strategy efficiently, achieving a positive result for Ferrari in this category.
