Toyota Gazoo Racing has announced the launch of the new GR Supra GT4 EVO2, which will debut in the 2025 season. This model has been developed with direct input from teams and drivers, resulting in substantial improvements in performance, reliability, and operability, positioning it as a standout option in the GT4 category.

Since its introduction in 2020, the GR Supra GT4 has sold over 120 units and achieved more than 500 podiums in 11 countries, proving to be a solid competitor in the category. In 2023, the car received key updates that improved braking, handling, and engine performance, adapting to drivers with varying levels of experience.

The GR Supra GT4 EVO2 goes further, with detailed improvements to the ABS braking system, optimized for different track conditions and tire wear. Additionally, a software update has reduced downshift time, improving control in corners and increasing speed without compromising stability. Cooling of the engine, brakes, and drivetrain has also been optimized, as well as cabin temperature, making the car easier to handle in extreme conditions.

The world debut of the GR Supra GT4 EVO2 is scheduled for January 2025, at the first round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, an event held as part of the 24 Hours of Daytona. These improvements demonstrate Toyota Gazoo Racing's commitment to continuous evolution and the development of vehicles that meet the demands of GT4 racing.
