On lap 37, Russell returned to the pits after losing second place to Norris. Verstappen, making his stop on lap 45, temporarily fell to third place before regaining the lead. Norris, on lap 48, exited the pits in second place.
During the race, Nico Hülkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda received 5-second penalties for speeding in the pits.
The final laps saw Norris setting the fastest lap on lap 50, and an intense battle between the Mercedes drivers for third position. The standings on lap 57 were: Verstappen, Norris, Hamilton, Russell, Leclerc, Sainz, Piastri, Pérez, Gasly, and Ocon.
The race concluded with Verstappen in first place, Norris in second, and Hamilton in third, with Russell and Leclerc completing the top five.
