The Mexican Grand Prix opens ticket sales for 2026 on November 10th with Banamex presale, followed by Banorte early sale on November 11th and general sale on the 12th. Prices range from $3,900 to $30,500, exactly the same as in 2025, consolidating the event as one of the most expensive on the calendar for the local public.
The 2025 edition was run without a Mexican driver for the first time since the event returned in 2015. Pérez returns in 2026 with Cadillac F1, which could further boost a demand that already overwhelms the sales system every year.
New DPO: Pay extra to secure your spot
This year introduces the Right of First Option (Derecho de Primera Opción). You pay between $1,450 and $7,500 extra when purchasing your 2026 ticket, and they guarantee you the same seat for 2027 and 2028. The idea is simple: you avoid the yearly free-for-all of the general sale, where tickets sell out in minutes.
How does it work? Let's say you buy Grandstand 1 for $30,500 plus DPO for $7,500. Total: $38,000 this year. When 2027 arrives, you receive an exclusive email to purchase Grandstand 1 again for $30,500. The same for 2028. You basically pay extra now to avoid the stress later.
However, the DPO does not freeze prices. It only guarantees that you will be able to purchase before everyone else, at the price prevailing at that time.
Not all products include it. Speed Lounges, premium boxes, and Grandstand Tour packages are excluded. Only regular grandstands and some specific zones are included.
If you are interested, you must register on the Mexico GP website before November 7th to access StayF1RST, which is a special sale from November 10th to 12th from 7:00 to 10:59 am. Only for Banamex and Banorte credit card customers, with payments up to 12 months.
Bank presales stagger access by dates
The sale operates in three stages: Banamex presale (November 10), Banorte early sale (November 11), and general sale (November 12). Cardholders of each bank access on their corresponding date, with financing available for 6 and 12 months interest-free for credit cards. The event generated an economic impact of 20,000 million pesos in 2025. Prices remain stable between 2025 and 2026.
