The Súper Copa Roshfrans 2025 is ready to kick off its season, and its official presentation took place in Mérida, Yucatán. With the presence of drivers, organizers, and representatives of national motorsports, the press conference provided key details about the event, which will be held on February 22 and 23 at the Autódromo de Yucatán.

Attendees at the presentation included Armín Lizama, Director of IDEY; Michel Jourdain Lascurain, Director of Súper Copa Roshfrans; Mauricio Pimentel, Operational Director of the series; Patricia Montero, representative of the Autódromo de Yucatán; Ricardo Encizo, General Manager of MG Montecristo; and drivers Carlos Novelo (GTM Light), Santiago López, and Zared León (Mexbike).

Lizama highlighted the importance of hosting events like the Súper Copa Roshfrans, emphasizing its impact on the local economy and the promotion of the sport in the state. Jourdain explained that the date change, making Yucatán the first venue on the calendar, was due to climatic reasons, as the probability of rain is lower at this time of year compared to the end of the previous season.

Categories and Ticket Prices Súper Copa Roshfrans Yucatán

Pimentel confirmed the presence of the four main categories: GTM, Tractocamiones, Mexbike, and F5. More than 90 drivers are expected to participate. Tickets will cost 270 pesos in presale through the official website supercopa.com.mx, 300 pesos on the day of the event at the box office, and 2,300 pesos for the hospitality zone, which includes additional benefits.

Autodrome Preparation Súper Copa Roshfrans Yucatán

Encizo emphasized the importance of MG's presence in the Súper Copa Roshfrans, mentioning the potential strong performance of the Richards-Gutiérrez team. Montero confirmed that the Emerson Fittipaldi Autodrome is ready to host the competition on February 23. Novelo announced his participation in the entire GTM Light season, aiming to compete for the championship and establish himself in the category. López expressed his enthusiasm for racing in his home state and reaffirmed his commitment to motorcycling. León stated that the motorcycles will reach speeds of up to 250 km/h on the main straight and take some corners at 160 km/h.
