Haas Factory Team has finalized its structure for the 2025 season, implementing several changes across its NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series teams. The new appointments include essential positions such as crew chiefs and competition directors, strengthening the organization with experienced personnel.
Appointments in NASCAR Xfinity Series
Jason Trinchere joins HFT as the crew chief for Sam Mayer, who will compete with the No. 41 car. Trinchere, with extensive experience in Xfinity and the Truck Series, comes from collaborations with Spire Motorsports and Kaulig Racing, where he achieved five victories alongside AJ Allmendinger. His experience also includes work with Landon Cassill and Daniel Hemric. Daytona will mark his 100th race as a crew chief in Xfinity.
Jonathon Toney will remain the crew chief for the No. 00 car, now with Sheldon Creed behind the wheel. Toney has previously worked with Cole Custer, with whom he secured the Xfinity championship in 2023. In less than 75 races as a crew chief, Toney has accumulated five victories and 42 top-10 finishes.
Changes in NASCAR Cup Series
Nick Sandler will be the new competition director for the Cup Series program. Coming from RFK Racing, Sandler has a career that began in 2006 under Jack Roush's guidance, serving as a race engineer and crew chief for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. during the 2015-2016 seasons. At HFT, Sandler will reunite with Aaron Kramer, who will lead Cole Custer's Cup team in 2025.
Leadership in NASCAR Xfinity
Adam Gravitt, a veteran with Haas since 2004, will take on the role of competition operations director for Xfinity. His career includes roles as part of the No. 14 road crew between 2009 and 2012, as well as an important role in managing engineering for the Xfinity program over the past two seasons.
