NASCAR México 2025 Season Start in San Luis Potosí
Unlike 2024, when the first race was held at the Los Angeles Coliseum sharing the weekend with the NASCAR Cup Clash, the 2025 season will start in San Luis Potosí on March 2.
Unconfirmed Dates in the NASCAR México 2025 Calendar
The lack of defined venues for key dates, such as the race scheduled for April 12, shows a recurring pattern of uncertainty in NASCAR México's planning from previous seasons. There is a possibility that this race will take place in Chihuahua, in a night format, or at the Querétaro oval. The Dorado Speedway in Chihuahua, known for its challenging technical layout, is an ideal setting for developing drivers, especially those aiming to compete in the United States. Its features, including demanding turns and fast straights, make it an optimal space for honing the skills needed to face the competition in NASCAR's national series. Due to its significance, this track should have at least two secured dates each season. Excluding Chihuahua from the calendar would be a missed opportunity impacting drivers with international aspirations.
International Expansion of NASCAR México with Panama as a Possible Venue
The September 14 date has been officially confirmed, but there is still the possibility that it will be held in Panama or Aguascalientes. Although the recent visit of NASCAR México President Jimmy Morales to the Panama Autodrome and his comments about the track's quality have generated positive expectations among fans and interested teams, the potential switch between venues maintains some uncertainty. International expansion would represent an important opportunity for NASCAR México, but the lack of a final decision raises questions about the feasibility of this project.
Return of Guadalajara to NASCAR México 2025
The tentative date of July 27 includes Guadalajara, with Querétaro as an alternative. The race in Guadalajara, originally planned for 2024 on a temporary circuit around the "Las Chivas" stadium, faced viability issues. Despite support from Jalisco authorities and the Guadalajara Football Club, organizers determined that building the track in time was not feasible due to preparation time constraints. Therefore, Guadalajara is still being considered for the 2025 calendar. If these issues are not resolved, the city could once again lose its spot in the championship, with Querétaro being the more practical solution.
Double Date at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
On June 14 and 15, the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City will host a double event where NASCAR México will share the weekend with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Cup Series. This event will offer Mexican drivers the chance to be considered for the Xfinity Series and allow U.S. drivers to participate in NASCAR México.

The NASCAR México calendar is subject to changes, even after the season has started. In past years, NASCAR México has made adjustments to dates and venues even after the championship was underway. For this reason, followers are advised to stay updated through official announcements and be prepared for last-minute changes.
