At the Miguel E. Abed Autodrome, Alex de Alba Jr. won a crucial race that takes him straight to the NASCAR Mexico final. With this victory, he will compete for the title on November 2 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
The race was essential to determine the finalists. Abraham Calderón, Xavi Razo, Alex de Alba, and Rubén García secured their places, while Irwin Vences, Max Gutiérrez, and Julio Rejón were eliminated.
After the race, trophies were awarded, and the large crowd at the racetrack was noted. Alex de Alba stated that his car performed flawlessly, allowing him to focus on the final: "Now it’s time to go for the title in November."
Rubén García, second in the race, said he chose not to take too many risks, aiming to secure his place in the final. Santiago Tovar finished third and bid farewell to the playoffs, though he will aim to finish the season well.
Eloy Sebastian also advances to the Challenge category final
In the Challenge category, Eloy Sebastian secured his spot in the final after a solid performance. After obtaining the pole, he won the race in Puebla and is now focused on the November final.
Jorge de la Parra finished second, satisfied with his team's efforts. Andrik Dimayuga also made it to the final, while Víctor Barrales Jr., Giancarlo Vecchi, and Eliud Treviño were eliminated.
The NASCAR Mexico season will conclude on November 2, when champions will be crowned in both the main category and the Challenge.
