Corey Heim won the Kubota Tractor 200 at Kansas Speedway, securing his spot in the next round of the NASCAR Truck Series Playoffs. Although Heim led for 64 laps, it was a fuel issue with Ty Majeski's vehicle that allowed Heim to pass him in the final laps and claim victory. Majeski, who was leading in the late stages, ran out of fuel just before the white flag, leaving Heim with a clear path to cross the finish line first in his TRICON Garage Toyota.
Rhodes and Dye out of the Playoffs
The race was also decisive for Ben Rhodes and rookie Daniel Dye, who were eliminated from the title contention. Rhodes, a two-time series champion, finished 22nd after running out of fuel, falling 25 points behind Grant Enfinger, who advanced to the next stage. Dye, for his part, faced multiple setbacks throughout the race and finished in 27th.
Majeski and other drivers advance to the next round
Despite his setback in the final laps, Majeski had secured his place in the next round by winning the first stage of the race, ultimately finishing in 15th. Other drivers advancing to the next round include Rajah Caruth, who finished seventh, and Grant Enfinger, who finished ninth, both advancing by points.
The next round of the Playoffs will take place at Talladega, where Heim and the other qualifiers will continue competing to advance in the championship.
