Joey Logano led 199 of the 200 laps in the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro, securing the win and the $1 million prize. Starting from the pole, Logano used soft tires throughout the race, keeping Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson behind.

At the revitalized North Wilkesboro Speedway, Logano and four other drivers opted not to switch to more durable tires during the mid-race break. This decision allowed Logano to maintain his position at the front. "With such a fast car, it's fun," commented Logano after his victory, his first of the year in any event.

Kyle Larson, despite starting from the back due to a driver change, showed his ability by advancing to fourth place before losing momentum at the end. Larson had qualified for the upcoming Indianapolis 500 and traveled by helicopter and private jet to compete at both tracks on the same day.

The race was also marked by a confrontation between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch. After a collision on lap 2, Stenhouse expressed his anger by confronting Busch's team, resulting in a brief fight after the race.
