Confrontation between Lozano and Aranda at the End of the Race in Chihuahua

Accidents and penalties marked Andrea Lozano's day at Dorado Speedway

In the NASCAR Truck Series race in Chihuahua at the Dorado Speedway, Andrea Lozano had an eventful race. She was running in sixth place on lap 81 when she collided with Esteban Rodríguez, causing him to lose control and be hit by Juan Reyes, who suffered more damage and retired shortly after. Then, on lap 90, Andrea Lozano was involved in another incident, this time pushing Valeria Aranda, with whom she had a good battle for the third position, along with Alonso Salinas, Everardo Fonseca, and Gerardo Rodríguez.

On this occasion, race control did not forgive Lozano and gave her a penalty with a pit lane pass during the green flag, causing her to lose a lap relative to the leaders. On lap 130, a yellow flag came out that would have allowed Lozano to regain the lap, but she was not eligible, as her penalty was by discretion, and by rule, the "lucky dog" went to the next driver with a lost lap.

The rest of the laps until the end were marked by constant contact and blocking between Andrea Lozano and Valeria Aranda. These incidents continued after they got out of their trucks, as Lozano immediately confronted Valeria. They exchanged words and shoves, and had to be separated by NASCAR staff and a member of Andrea's team.
