Xavi Razo had a standout performance at the Dorado Speedway, securing the pole position, setting the fastest lap, and leading the entire race in Chihuahua, as part of NASCAR Mexico. With a clearly superior car and perfect driving, Razo drove his car to victory.
“Fortunately, we secured a spot in the playoffs and achieved this victory from start to finish. Thanks to everyone, to God, and to the team for this one-two-three,” Razo commented after the race.
Julio Rejón, who finished second, was waiting for a yellow flag to overtake, but it wasn't possible. "The goal is the playoffs, whether by wins or points," he stated.
Rodrigo Rejón, who finished third, was happy with his first podium in this category and with the one-two-three finish for the team. Jordi Vidal, the team's director, expressed his happiness with the perfect night, hoping his father was watching from heaven.
NASCAR Challenge Category
In NASCAR Challenge, Andrik Dimayuga achieved his second win of the season. “I'm happy because it's a well-deserved victory that I chased lap after lap. We're going for the championship,” Dimayuga commented.
Jorge de la Parra, who finished second, said he could have achieved a better result if it weren't for a flat tire. He celebrated the good result on his birthday.
Víctor Barrales, who finished third, was satisfied despite problems with the power steering.
