Envision Racing and Mahindra Racing have made significant changes to their line-ups for the upcoming Berlin E-Prix, which will be held on May 11 and 12.

At Envision Racing, due to a calendar conflict with the World Endurance Championship, Sebastien Buemi and Robin Frijns will not be able to compete in rounds 9 and 10. Joel Eriksson and Paul Aron will join the team as replacements. Eriksson, 25, currently with Jaguar TCS Racing, will participate in Berlin thanks to special permission from Jaguar. Aron, 20, a standout in Formula 2, will intensely prepare for his Formula E debut with Envision Racing.

On the other hand, Mahindra Racing has announced that Jordan King will replace Nyck de Vries in Berlin. De Vries also has commitments with the World Endurance Championship. King, with experience in IndyCar, Formula 2, and Formula 3, as well as development roles with Manor Racing and the Alpine F1 Team, joins the team with extensive knowledge of Mahindra's M10Electro. Edoardo Mortara, De Vries' teammate, will participate in the event as planned.

In addition, Kush Maini, Formula 2 racer and part of the Mahindra Racing team, will be present in Emilia-Romagna as part of his development in his new role. Maini has had a promising start to the 2024 Formula 2 season, standing out in the early races.

Both Envision Racing and Mahindra Racing are focused on maintaining their dynamics and performance despite the unexpected changes, and both teams have expressed confidence in the potential and preparation of their new drivers for the challenging Berlin E-Prix.

The 6th and 7th rounds of the Misano E-Prix are scheduled to start on Friday, April 12. The series of events will continue throughout the weekend, culminating with the race on Sunday.
