HF Brand Renewal

Lancia has signaled a possible return to rally with the renewal of its iconic HF brand. This development is marked by the introduction of the redesigned HF logo on the new Lancia Ypsilon HF, a model that promises performance and modernity.

The HF logo, originating from 1960 and emblematic of Lancia's racing history, has been transformed. The new version combines classic and modern elements, reflecting the brand's legacy and its projection into the future. This logo will adorn the 2025 Ypsilon HF, a fully electric model that promises high performance with its 240 HP motor.

Lancia, with its rich history in the WRC, where it has won 10 constructors' titles, is considering re-entering rally competitions. Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia, has mentioned that the brand is evaluating this possibility. However, a clear strategy for this return has not yet been defined.

The current rally context is marked by reforms announced by the FIA, including changes in regulations and the introduction of a new electric category. In this changing scenario, Lancia could play an important role, adapting to the new trends and challenges of motorsport.

The brand, now under the Stellantis Group, faces the challenge of reintegrating into a rapidly evolving rally environment. The relaunch of the HF brand and the introduction of the Ypsilon HF are crucial steps in this renewal process, combining heritage and advanced technology.
