In addition to the thrilling NASCAR Trucks race at Aquiles Speedway Park, three local categories were contested: the usual Standard, Modified, and Open. These categories set the stage for the main race. Starting with the Standard category, a special guest from the United States stood out, CJ Hulsey, who behind the wheel of car number 18 set the best times since Saturday, securing the pole position. (We hope he shares his experience with his friends and that more drivers come to compete in Chihuahua in the future). On Sunday, during the race, Hulsey led almost every lap, facing strong competition from veteran Xavier Guerrero. Fernando Tapia also had a showdown with Juan Tarango, who returned to Aquiles Speedway after several months of absence, finishing third and fourth, respectively.
In the Modified category, the starting grid was composed of 7 cars, led by Humberto Pérez in car number 8, who maintained the lead for most of the competition. However, in the final laps, Aarón Córdoba initiated a decisive attack that would grant him the first position. It is worth noting that he and Oswaldo Fierro started from the back as they did not qualify the day before. The podium was completed by Esteban Chávez, who piloted his pick-up with a renewed livery.
In the Libre category, the top two positions were occupied by the Balderama family, with Christian and Gerardo taking first and second place, respectively. Aarón Córdoba would once again repeat on the podium with a third-place finish.
