On January 27, 2024, Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing achieved his first victory in Season 10 at Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. This victory marked his 50th race in Formula E, becoming the only driver to have reached the podium in the first three races of the season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Starting from the third position, Cassidy executed an effective strategy that allowed him to stay close to the race leaders, Robin Frijns of Envision Racing and Oliver Rowland of Nissan Formula E Team, who started in pole position. Cassidy took the lead during the ATTACK MODE activation in the first lap.

Once in the leading position, Cassidy maintained a 2.5-second advantage and precisely executed his second mandatory 50 kW boost of the ATTACK MODE. Despite constant pressure from Frijns and Rowland, who were less than a second away during the final stages of the race, Cassidy maintained his lead and confidently crossed the finish line.
Frijns' second place marked his return to the podium after a two-season absence. Rowland, in third place, achieved his first top-three position in a long time.

The race also saw a standout performance from Jake Hughes of NEOM McLaren, who secured his best result in fourth position, and Stoffel Vandoorne of DS PENSKE, who continued his consistent performance in Diriyah by finishing in fifth place. Drivers like Sacha Fenestraz of Nissan, Pascal Wehrlein of TAG Heuer Porsche, and two-time champion Jean-Éric Vergne of DS PENSKE also had notable performances.

The reigning champion, Jake Dennis of Andretti, finished tenth but was penalized and lost his points due to overtaking under a yellow flag.
Cassidy's victory brought him an 18-point lead in the World Drivers' Championship, while Jaguar TCS Racing leads in the team standings. The next race of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will be in Sao Paulo on March 16.

Before the race, Helena Christensen enjoyed a unique Formula E experience, interacting with champion Jake Dennis and Jaguar TCS Racing Team Director James Barclay. She also had the opportunity to take a high-speed lap in the Porsche Taycan safety car.
