The official announcement of the partnership between Quaker State and Trackhouse Racing took place at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) in March 2023. Since then, the synergy between these two powerhouses has been remarkable. Daniel Suárez, aboard his Quaker State-sponsored Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, secured second place at the 13th annual Quaker State 400 in AMS, marking his best result of the season.
The most exciting news for fans is undoubtedly the return of Daniel Suárez to his roots. Suárez, who began his career in the NASCAR Mexico Series in 2008, returns to Mexican competition at an inaugural event at the Coliseum of Los Angeles, sponsored by Quaker State. This event is not only a homecoming for Suárez but also a golden opportunity to inspire and motivate future generations of drivers.
Trackhouse Racing, which started as a single-car team in 2021, has experienced spectacular growth. The acquisition of Chip Ganassi Racing's NASCAR assets at the end of that year allowed the team to expand to two full entries in the NASCAR Cup Series. The results were not long in coming: a dream 2022 season with both drivers achieving victory and participation in the NASCAR playoffs. Additionally, Shane van Gisbergen, Supercars champion, joined the team and secured a win in the Inaugural race in Chicago under the Trackhouse Racing PROJECT91 program.
Quaker State is no stranger to success in NASCAR. With over 7 million miles on NASCAR tracks and over 170 victories, the brand has been an integral part of the history of several of the sport's most recognized teams. Their motor oils have been crucial in winning championships at all three levels of NASCAR, including 10 NASCAR Cup Series championships.
With the expansion of this agreement, Quaker State will showcase its brand on all cars and driver uniforms during the 2024 season. Additionally, it will be the primary sponsor of Suárez's No. 99 in NASCAR Cup Series races at Richmond Raceway, Darlington Raceway, and the 14th edition of the Quaker State 400 in Atlanta.
