Súper Copa Roshfrans has updated its tentative 2026 calendar with changes in five of the nine scheduled rounds. The series released the new version on social media, without an official statement and without explaining the reasons for the adjustments. The nine venues remain intact, but the order in which they will be visited starting from the fourth round is different from the one published at the beginning of the year.

What changed on the calendar

Speedfest, which in the original calendar had been scheduled for August 1st and 2nd, is now listed as "to be confirmed," leaving the season with one round without a defined date. León and Monterrey swap positions: León moves to Round 4 on May 2nd-3rd, occupying a slot previously held by Monterrey, which in turn moves down to Round 8 on October 10th-11th. Querétaro, originally scheduled for May 23rd-24th as Round 5, moves to September 19th-20th and becomes Round 7. Chihuahua keeps its August 29th-30th weekend but changes from Round 7 to Round 6.

One detail that might explain the moves is that the original Monterrey date, April 25th-26th, coincided with the third round of NASCAR Mexico. Both series share a considerable number of drivers who compete in both, such as Eloy Falcón and Paul Jourdain, which would have created a direct schedule conflict. By moving Monterrey to October 10th-11th, Súper Copa eliminated that conflict, but the reshuffle forced the rest of the calendar to shift from the fourth round onward.

The first two rounds have already taken place in Yucatán and Tuxtla Gutiérrez, and Aguascalientes remains as Round 3 on March 21st-22nd unchanged. The season finale in Puebla on November 7th-8th also remains fixed. Súper Copa Roshfrans also confirmed its participation during the Mexico Grand Prix F1 weekend, on October 31st and November 1st at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The activity will not be championship-scoring, as has been the case in previous editions.

Two rounds completed

In Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Súper Copa raced for the first time at the Súper Óvalo Chiapas using a roval configuration that combined part of the oval with a road course section. Defending champion Emiliano Richards won the first GTM Pro 1 race, and Eloy Falcón took the second. In Tractocamiones, Santiago Tovar recovered from a sixth-place finish in Yucatán with a victory.

The next round of the season is Aguascalientes on March 22nd at the OAM, and Michel Jourdain, director of Súper Copa Roshfrans, explained that the calendar is compressed in the early months because the series will not hold races during the World Cup. The calendar maintains the notice that dates and venues remain subject to change.
