Matt Crafton will end his career as a full-time driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at the conclusion of the 2025 season. The 49-year-old veteran will hand over the wheel of the #88 ThorSport Racing truck to Ty Majeski, who is coming off winning the series' 2024 championship.

Crafton's departure ends a 23-season partnership with Menards as the primary sponsor. This association represents the longest-running driver-brand relationship in NASCAR history, but it will come to a close when Majeski takes over the iconic #88.

Crafton Has 585 Consecutive Starts Since 2000

Crafton possesses statistics few can match in the series. His 585 consecutive starts set the absolute record for uninterrupted participation in the Truck Series. The Californian has not missed a race since his debut in the 2000 Motorola 200.

Crafton's career resume includes 15 wins, 331 top-10 finishes, and 16 poles over 26 seasons. His three championships (2013, 2014, 2019) place him as the second-most successful driver in terms of titles, though his last win dates back to 2019. His championship that year was won without a single race victory, an unusual feat in the series.

Majeski Led 132 Laps at Phoenix to Win 2024 Title

His successor has already proven his capability. Majeski dominated the final race at Phoenix Raceway, leading 132 of the 150 laps to secure his first championship. With six wins and 11 poles since arriving at ThorSport, the 31-year-old driver brings solid credentials to inherit the team's most successful seat.

ThorSport Has Accumulated Six Driver Championships Since 1996

The Sandusky, Ohio-based team has distributed its six championships among Crafton (3), Ben Rhodes (2), and Majeski (1). ThorSport has been operating since 1996 as one of the series' most enduring teams. The organization runs its operations from a 100,000-square-foot facility. Its 17 consecutive seasons with at least one victory set the record for the longest winning streak in the series, though it will now face the challenge of maintaining that level without its most experienced driver.
