More than two decades had to pass for the Francisco Villa Autodrome in Chihuahua to once again host a round of a national touring championship, remembering that the last time it was run was in the legendary McCormick and Roshfrans Cups in the early 2000s.

For several years, the fans of Chihuahua city longed for the arrival of an event that would fill them with excitement and transport them to past times. For a long time, there had been rumors that one day, a national-scale event would arrive at the Francisco Villa Autodrome, but it always turned out to be just that: a rumor.

However, after the long wait, the news finally arrived that they had been waiting for. Chihuahua city would be the venue for the second round of the national Súper Copa championship, which would bring together the best drivers from all over the country.

The organization of the event was not easy, as many resources were needed to carry it out, considering that the autodrome had been inactive for a long time. However, thanks to the effort and dedication of those involved in the project, the event was a great success.

This event featured a variety of categories, from the powerful GTM to the large trucks, there were also trans-am, exotics, and pony. After six exciting races, the fans were exhausted but happy. They had enjoyed a great weekend. The crowd went home with a great feeling and already looking forward to the next year when the category returns.
