Xavi Razo earned his tenth victory in NASCAR Mexico Series by winning the "Aguascalientes el Gigante de México 250", the fourth round of the 2025 championship held this Sunday at Óvalo Aguascalientes México.
I'm happy with this result, it's credit to everyone who works with me. We're in great position to repeat as regular season champions, but now the important thing is winning the 2025 championship. Time to celebrate my tenth victory in the series and focus on Querétaro, which is the next round
Race Development
The race began with Quiroga successfully defending his pole position, after having recorded a time of 23.928 seconds in Saturday's qualifying session. However, as the race progressed, both Razo and Rubén Rovelo showed better pace.
Quiroga, who is seeking his first win of the year to secure his playoff spot, maintained the lead for much of the race, but a late caution flag changed the landscape.
Meanwhile, Rubén Rovelo completed the podium in third position.
First Victory for Ortiz
In the Challenge category, driver Diego Ortiz achieved his first victory behind the wheel of the #11 car. Ortiz maintained focus throughout the race despite multiple caution flags.
San Luis Potosí native Víctor Barrales finished second and stated he'll go for the win in Querétaro on June 1st at Ecocentro. Koke de la Parra completed the podium driving the #29 car.
Next Stop: Querétaro
The fifth round of the 2025 NASCAR Mexico Series will take place on June 1st at Ecocentro de Querétaro.
