NASCAR Mexico reschedules its 2025 championship dates again

The NASCAR México organization has released an updated schedule for the 2025 season, introducing changes affecting four championship dates and reintroducing a "to be determined" race after previously confirming all venues.

The announcement was made solely through an image shared on social media accompanied by the message: "2025 continues its course with our updated schedule, save the dates and don't miss the excitement of NASCAR México Series."

Four changes in the new schedule

Comparing the current version (May) with the previous one (March), the following alterations are identified:

1. Date 10 (August 9) originally assigned to Monterrey now appears as "To be determined" and moves to August 10

2. Monterrey relocates to date 8 (July 5), which previously corresponded to Puebla

3. The race scheduled in Mexico City (July 19) is removed and replaced by Puebla one day later (July 20)

4. The Panamá race changes from September 13 to 14

Limited communication creates confusion

The standard practice in professional motorsport categories is to accompany any schedule updates with detailed official statements. However, this isn't the first time NASCAR México has made adjustments without providing supplementary information, setting a concerning precedent.

These changes go practically unnoticed by the general public, as neither the organization nor championship-related media highlight them. Series followers must manually compare each version of the schedule to identify differences, a situation that reflects communication shortcomings in a professional sporting event.

Managing the schedule in this manner affects the credibility of Mexico's premier motorsport series, particularly when it involves changing venues, relocating events, and adding "to be determined" races after having confirmed them.

Notably, the existence of a "to be determined" date guarantees the schedule will be modified again in the near future, increasing uncertainty for all competition stakeholders.
