The Súper Óvalo Potosino witnessed the first victory of the 2025 season of the Trucks México Series, where Mateo Girón (#5) completed a perfect weekend by securing both the pole position and the final victory under intense heat conditions.

Consistent start and initial stage for Girón

The competition on Sunday, March 2, started at 11:30 AM with a scheduled duration of 100 minutes. From the start, the driver of the #5 truck maintained his privileged position achieved in Saturday's qualifying, controlling the first half of the race and winning the initial stage.

Final battle for victory

After the pit stops, the contest took a new turn when Gerardo Rodríguez in the #26 truck took the temporary lead. The fans witnessed an intense fight for the top spot, which ended when the driver from Zacatecas executed a decisive overtake less than 10 laps before the finish to secure the win.

Female presence on the podium

A standout result of the day was the third place achieved by Valeria Aranda in the #27 truck, who secured her first podium in the category, representing a significant step forward for women drivers in this championship.
