Double win for Salvador de Alba Jr. in the Yucatan GTM

The first round of the Súper Copa Roshfrans 2025 started with a positive result for Salvador de Alba Jr., who secured two victories at the Autódromo Emerson Fittipaldi in Yucatán in the GTM Pro 1 category.

The driver from his team started from sixth place in the first race, moving up to the lead after a series of key overtakes. He crossed the finish line with a 0.202-second advantage over Paul Jourdain from his team, who had started from pole position. Gerardo Nieto, also from his team, completed the podium after climbing from fourth place.

In the second race, De Alba Jr. repeated the result after overtaking Emiliano Richards from his team in the opening laps. Once in the lead, he maintained a consistent pace to secure his second victory of the day. Jourdain and Richards joined him on the podium once again. The race was temporarily halted due to an engine failure on Irán Sánchez's car, which caused a stoppage of over 10 minutes due to the amount of oil on the track.

“Harry” Dueñas wins in Tractocamiones after making a comeback in Yucatán

Enrique “Harry” Dueñas started the 2025 season of Tractocamiones with a victory at the Autódromo Yucatán. Driving the #29 truck from his team, Dueñas started from the back of the grid and worked his way up to first place on the 3,340-meter-long circuit.

The driver from Guadalajara repeated his result from the last race of 2024 at the same venue. After the race, he highlighted his performance and the strategy of moving up from the back to achieve the result. His next race will be at the Autódromo Monterrey on March 16.

Federico Solís takes victory in F5 Pro 1

The driver from Zacatecas, Federico Solís, started the season with a win in the F5 Pro 1 category of the Súper Copa Roshfrans 2025. After qualifying in second place, he remained competitive throughout the race and secured the victory.

Iván González, the reigning champion of the category, finished second, while Javier Girón took third place after overtaking Enrique Reina in the final meters. The race was interrupted for nearly 10 minutes due to a series of off-track incidents involving six single-seaters.

Ulysses Escobedo dominates in Mexbike Expertos

Ulysses Escobedo claimed his first win of the season in Mexbike Expertos after a strong performance at the Autódromo Emerson Fittipaldi. After qualifying second, he capitalized on his pace to take the lead and hold onto it until the finish. His brother, Alain Escobedo, secured second place, while Sócrates Juliaras completed the podium.

In Mexbike 400, Kevin León took the victory, followed by Santiago López and Zeus Ramírez. The next round of the championship will take place in Monterrey.
